These Terms govern your use of ThreadVid (the “Service”) at threadvid.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
ThreadVid is software that helps you turn publicly-posted stories (e.g. from Reddit) into short narrated videos and publish them to platforms you connect. You are the creator and publisher of everything you make with it.
You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live). You're responsible for all activity under your account. We verify your email before activating an account.
You agree not to: (a) generate or publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual content involving minors, or that infringes others' rights; (b) impersonate others; (c) violate the terms of any platform you connect (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, ElevenLabs, Google); (d) resell or scrape the Service; (e) attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it.
You are solely responsible for the videos you generate and where you post them, including having the rights to any source material, voices, music, and footage you use, and for complying with each platform's rules and applicable law (including disclosure of AI-generated/synthetic media where required). ThreadVid does not review your content and is not your publisher.
Video retention. Rendered videos are stored only temporarily and are automatically deleted 30 days after they are created. ThreadVid is a creation tool, not long-term storage — please download any video you wish to keep before it expires. We are not responsible for videos lost after this period.
The Service works with third-party APIs. When you provide your own API keys or connect accounts, you authorize ThreadVid to use them on your behalf to perform the actions you request. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms, and we're not responsible for their availability, pricing, or decisions (e.g. a platform restricting or removing your content).
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Yearly billing is discounted as shown at checkout. Promotional/intro prices apply to the first billing term only; renewals are at the then-current standard price shown on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may change prices with notice for future terms.
Refunds. Every video you generate consumes real, non-recoverable resources (AI voiceover and cloud rendering), so the value of a paid plan is delivered as soon as you create content with it. Therefore, once you have generated one or more videos on a paid plan, that plan term is non-refundable. If you have not generated any videos during the current paid term, you may request a refund of that term within 14 days of payment by emailing billing@threadvid.com. Automatic renewals, and any term in which videos were created, are not eligible for a refund. Nothing here limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
The free tier lets you create a limited number of videos so you can evaluate the Service. We may change or end the free tier at any time.
The Service, its software, branding and design are owned by ThreadVid. You keep ownership of the videos you create (subject to the rights of any third-party material you include). You grant us a limited licence to process your content only to operate the Service for you.
The Service is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee any particular result — views, followers, monetization, or that generated content will be accepted by any platform. AI output can be inaccurate; review before publishing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreadVid is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create legal/security risk.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
