This policy explains what ThreadVid (threadvid.com) collects, why, and your choices. We try to collect as little as possible.
Account: your name, email, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
Credentials you add: API keys and channel links you enter (e.g. ElevenLabs key, Reddit keys, Google/YouTube authorization, social URLs). These are stored so the Service can act on your behalf.
Usage: videos and jobs you create, plan and billing status, and basic technical logs.
To operate the Service (generate videos, schedule/publish to the platforms you connect), to provide support, to manage your subscription, and to keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal data.
When you ask the Service to do something, it calls third-party APIs using your keys/authorization โ for example Reddit (fetch posts), ElevenLabs (voice), and Google/YouTube (upload). Those providers process the relevant data under their own privacy policies. We use service providers for hosting and payment processing.
We protect your data with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including password hashing and access controls. Stored credentials are used only to run your requested actions. No system is 100% secure; use a unique password.
We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can view and update your credentials anytime, and request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your stored data and credentials.
We keep your data while your account is active and for a short period afterward as needed for legal, security and billing purposes, then delete it.
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
We'll post updates here and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
